"Scaling was awful"
I had a frustrating experience with the scaling. It just didn’t work well at all, and to make it more confusing, the email I got seemed to say something different than what was actually happening. I wasn’t really sure what to follow, and the whole thing felt more complicated than it needed to be.

"Good ping on the Amsterdam server"
I’ve been using the Amsterdam location and, for my setup at least, the ping has been really solid and about what I expected. I haven’t noticed any random spikes so far, even at night when everyone in our group is online. Could be different depending on where you’re connecting from, but for me it’s been a smooth experience.

Got it set up without much trouble, honestly. Took me just a few mins and everything seemed to work quick after that. No real issues so far, which is always nice lol.

I had a small problem while setting up my server and reached out to support late in the evening. They replied faster than I expected and did not make the process feel confusing. The first reply did not fully fix the issue, but they followed up soon after and got everything sorted. It actually felt like a real person was reading what I wrote and trying to help. It was not perfect since I had to wait a bit at one point, but overall I had a good experience with their support.

I looked into Firestorm Servers because I was curious, but wow, the chatter around them is kind of a storm cloud. Some people seem to get by just fine, sure, but then you run into a bunch of comments about rough support and server quality that’s all over the place. That made me hesitate big time. Maybe it’s perfect for some folks, but for me, the reputation felt a little too dramatic to ignore.

"Mixed experience overall"
and I’ve been using firestorm-servers for a little while now, and it’s been okay overall. Most days everything runs fine and I don’t really have any issues, but there have been a few random drops that got frustrating, especially when they happened at bad times. Support did get back to me, but it wasn’t exactly quick. I wouldn’t say it’s bad, but it’s not amazing either. If you’re okay with the occasional bit of downtime, it’s probably fine

"The docs just didn’t really help much..."
The docs just didn’t really help much. Kind of thin. Some parts felt outdated too. I was trying to get the basic setup done and kept running into little gaps where I wasn’t sure what to do next. Ended up having to ask support for stuff I expected to be covered already.

"Solid overall, just feels like it should include a bit more"
Most of the features I needed were already there, which was nice. It feels like they did a decent job covering the basics, though I do think it’s only fair to expect a little more if they’re presenting it as a complete solution.

"Payment was fine, but cancellation was frustrating"
Paying was no problem, but trying to cancel took longer than it should have. The process wasn’t very clear, and I had to deal with more back-and-forth than expected, which was annoying.

"Kind of wish I’d picked something more reliable"
The server speed is decent most of the time, but I’ve definitely noticed lag when things get busy. Setup wasn’t hard, and when traffic is low it runs well. Still, I can’t help feeling a little buyer’s remorse because I was hoping for more consistent performance. It’s not awful, and for the price it’s probably fair, but I do wish I’d spent a bit more on something steadier...

The updates do come through, but I don’t know why they seem to take so long in between. They’re okay when they arrive, I just wish they happened a little more often.

"Decent games, but the selection could be better"
Firestorm Servers is alright if they happen to have the game you're looking for. I found a few decent options, but the selection felt a bit limited compared to what I expected. It’s not a bad service, and I appreciate when a company keeps things straightforward, but I do think it’s only fair to offer customers a wider variety if they’re going to market themselves as a go-to option. Overall, not a terrible experience, just hoping they add more games over time.

"Not as reliable as I hoped"
I signed up for the DDoS protection because a friend of mine had recommended having something in place after his site got hit last year. Unfortunately, it wasn’t as strong as I expected. My site still went down a couple of times, and when I reached out to support, they mostly just said they were checking on it. I was hoping for a little more reassurance and faster action.

"Too expensive for what you get"
I tried it for about a month, but i just didn’t feel like the price matched what I was getting. I’ve used cheaper hosts that offered basically the same features and experience, so it didn’t make sense to keep paying more. In the end, I cancelled and personally wouldn’t say it’s worth the money

"Plugins kept breaking and the wait was frustrating"
This was annoying. The plugins kept breaking on me, and every time I tried to get help, I felt like I was stuck waiting in a queue forever. I get that issues happen, but having to sit around just to deal with the same problem again and again really wore me down.

I tried to make changes to my account, but nothing would actually update. It felt like such a simple thing turned into a hassle for no reason. it left me frustrated and disappointed.

"I really like how much you can customize..."
I really like how much you can customize the server setup. It’s nice not being stuck with some basic default configuration and being able to tweak things the way you want. It did take me a little while to find where everything was, but that wasn’t a big deal. Once I got used to it, it worked great.

"Backup Process Was Too Stressful"
I used firestorm-servers for a while, and the main thing that bothered me was the backup side of things. Restores weren’t very clear, so I never really felt confident that my data was actually safe. Support did get back to me, but it took longer than I would’ve liked, and I felt like I was wasting energy worrying about stuff that should’ve been simple. It’s not the worst service I’ve used, but I wouldn’t call it great if security and peace of mind matter to you.
